Carpentry School

Carpentry School

Brief History

Similar to tailoring college, the carpentry school was a program started to equip young men with skills to help them earn income. When the tailoring college was started, it was noted that most students who signed up were women, thus men felt left out. With the carpentry program in place, young men have learnt a lot of skills that have led to some of them having successful carpentry shops around Kakamega County.
