Reaching the unreached Pastors Program

Jesus called Peter the Rock on which the church will be built upon. After his sermon on the day of Pentecost, 3000 people got saved and the church was birthed in Jerusalem. Peter is a great example of the great plans the Lord has for uneducated disciples in the world today.

Brief History

In our community, there are many pastors who are passionate about the word of God but have not means of expressing the good news of Christ. This program was started to help the pastors evangelise hence lead to the expansion of the church. Through the program, we now have a network of 200 pastors who benefit by getting monthly teachings, Bibles for them and their congregation, workshops on topics such a marriage, conferences for networking and learning.

In addition, Rush has built houses for 14 pastors who had poor living conditions or no homes at all. As part of the empowering program for the pastors, Rush started with buying bicycles for some pastors which they use as a transportation business during the week hence their source of income. The bicycles have also helped them in evangelising and accessing an even wider area in various communities.

Currently, we have moved to purchasing motorcycles instead of bicycles, and so far, Rush has purchased 6 motorcycles for the pastors. Moreover, in a bid to improve on agriculture, we started purchasing dairy cattle for the pastors that produce milk and dairy products which they sell to help earn a living. However, the motorcycles and dairy farming are expensive ventures and we need a lot of support to see them to fruition. Despite the success we have witnessed so far, a lot more is needed and we have a long way ahead of us.
