Rush Fellowship
Brief History
Launched by RUSH in 2003, RUSH Fellowship stands as a heartwarming initiative designed to uplift the elderly, widowed, and marginalized individuals in society. Its primary goal is not just to introduce them to the Christian faith but also to harness that faith as a source of empowerment and a gateway to other vital RUSH projects.
RUSH Fellowship provides a beacon of hope to those often left on the margins of society. It extends a compassionate hand to the elderly, widows, and marginalized individuals, offering them a spiritual foundation through the Christian faith. This spiritual journey serves as the starting point for a broader transformation, which includes introducing them to other RUSH projects.
Beyond nurturing faith, RUSH Fellowship connects these individuals with practical initiatives such as RUSH Microfinance, empowering them with the financial tools and knowledge needed for economic self-sufficiency. They are also introduced to agricultural endeavors, equipping them with skills for sustainable farming and food production. Moreover, they gain access to adult education opportunities, further enhancing their knowledge and skill sets.
RUSH Fellowship is more than just a religious outreach; it is a holistic approach to improving the lives of those who are often left behind by society. By building a strong spiritual foundation and then providing access to practical programs, RUSH Fellowship embodies the mission of RUSH NGO – to empower and uplift individuals, ensuring that no one is forgotten or left without the tools they need to thrive in life.
